Celia, a very known romanian singer and songwriter, founded in 2006 the project “Celia”. She is known today as “The Romanian Dance Princess”, on her real name Cristina Ioana Socolan,
The first album from Celia’s solo career was produced during the year 2007. The album was called “Celia“, after the artists’ stage name. The album was released in November 2007. Little time before releasing the album, the artist launched the dance song “Trag aer in piept“, with house rhythms, something promising for the romanian music industry and very well received by the romanian public.
The second single from Celia’s album was called “Soapte” and it was chosen the next single because of the big number of views on Youtube channel. “Soapte” was officially released in 2008..
After that, Celia continued to launch big hits like “Silence” and “Cold tears” in 2008, “A thousand words” in 2008 and “My story” in 2009. “My story” is one of Celia’s most appreciated songs abroad, as in 2011 it was number 149 in “Dance Radio Airplay Top 200 Chart 2011 USA” and number 79 in “C89.5’s Top 89 songs of 2011 (as aired New Year’s Weekend) USA”.
In 2011, Celia came back with 3 major hits: D-D-Down, Dame (Shaggy feat Celia) and “Is it love” (Celia feat Kaye Styles).

The video of this single was shot in Russia and it is known as one of the sexiest videos from Eastern Europe. The song is also present in all the romanian tops and it continues climbing on radio and TV tops like ProFM, Kiss FM, Radio Zu, Radio21, Radio Prahova, Kiss TV, UTV, MTV Romania and many more.
Also, due to the success of her recent video, Celia is invited constantly to TV shows and events, as she has become appreciated by many.
In January 2011, she was the cover of FHM Magazine in Romania. The single “IS IT LOVE” arrived on the international tops as well, as Celia has managed to develop a successful international career, due to her manager, the international producer Costi Ionita.
